Grosse Pointe Physicians X-Ray Center P.C. has their own billing staff. Our dedicated billers work with patients, physicans offices and insurance companies to process claims effectively and efficiently.

Our current coding staff includes three certified coders in accordance with RMBA standards. We continue to educate our staff through seminars in order to stay in tune with the current requirements. Most of us get confused between what is meant by
participating and accepting, in-order to make it more understandable
we have listed the definition of each term below:

 

PARTICIPATING: Grosse Pointe Physicians X-Ray Center, P.C. has signed a contract with the insurance company and we agree to accept what they consider reasonable and customary fees which may include co-pays and deductibles on the patients part.


Insurances We Participate In.

 

For services rendered you may reveive more than one bill...
       But... You are not paying twice. The hospital bills for their equipment, technicians and supplies       Doctors, radiologists or pathologists may perform additional services.       These doctors will bill you separately. ACCEPT: Grosse Pointe Physicians X-ray Center, P.C. has not signed a contract with the insurance company and do not accept what they consider reasonable and customary fees as payment in full for services. Grosse Pointe Physicians X-Ray Center, P.C. however will submit claims to any insurance company but this is not a guarantee of payment.
